Looking to get a dental bridge in Kenosha? Look no further!
A dental bridge is a permanent appliance that creates a bridge-like structure between two healthy teeth to replace missing teeth and fill in the space the tooth (or multiple teeth) have left behind. A bridge will bring back your smile and facial shape and restore your ability to chew and speak. It can also prevent the remaining teeth from shifting.

A traditional bridge is the most common type; it is typically made of porcelain crowns fused to a metal band. The crowns are fixed over anchoring teeth on either side of the bridge. The bridge (metal portion) has artificial teeth attached to it to replace the missing teeth. Many people choose to use porcelain since it creates a more natural looking artificial tooth and is difficult to detect.

The process of getting a bridge is very similar to the process of getting a crown, with just a few more steps. First, the anchor teeth are filled down and impressions are made of the area of the mouth the bridge will be placed in. Next, crowns are put on the anchor teeth to the bridge can be suspended between them. Lastly, the bridge is placed between them. This process can take 2-3 visits to our office.
